Force Impulse Gundam

Out and about in Japan so not at home at the moment. Probably won't be back for some time, but whilst playing around on PS with this one I finally decided on an image (which I posted as a header a wee bit ago). It's an oldie that I didn't like at the time but decided to gussie up a bit while I had some free time away. Anyway, I wont be back for probably quite a while -- training for marathons, traveling, etc, so have fun during summer!!

Oowashi Akatsuki Gundam

Decided that perhaps I should put something out for the Akatsuki. Not marvelous, but at least the surface is pretty close to what I wanted. Again, this is half of the full image, the Destiny is the other half. Thought I'd focus on just one machine at a time, even if the background is a bit jumbled. One day I'll figure it all out.

Destiny Gundam

I was just having a bit of fun I guess. I never did put anything out for it. I decided to make a large image that I could cut in half, for which this is the right half.

Shin Musha Gundam: Kind of like Morishita's idea...

Basically the shin musha gundams pose is ripped from Morishita's work on the same machine... I tried to get it close to the black and white image I saw before but I had to guess a lot. The render time was quite large as well. Anyway, still moving house so nothing for a while (again). Wish I could baby this one a bit more.

Just screwing around. I might swing the camera around and get Destiny a bit later on.

Left the machine running whilst I went to work today.

What the hell. I figured that since I built it that I might as well throw something together for it. Clipped off the sides so that I can use the full image later (as usual).

Messing around again

I didn't have much time to do anything last week so I just messed around a bit. Going to be a small image because I'll probably stick this in the artbook as well. Edit: sized it up a bit and posted it. Still going to keep it a bit small though.

Kinda like the last gm (kai) image I rendered out. Wow, that was a while ago too.

Took a while to get here. I'm thinking of having the art book feature a larger version of this.

Pretty much there with the A1. Only minor stuff to make the C1 and then on to the Hummingbird.

Strike Freedom Full Burst: Limited

I put this together to say thanks for 50,000 pageviews on the gallery. I left out a lot in the final image so that I could use the full image later on the web site (when it's finally rolled out). Most of this is, of course, Lightwave -- but a good chunk is photoshop as well. Somewhat similar to the plastic model box art....somewhat.

FAZZ: Sentinel Type Complete

Finally trudged through the textures and came out with something. The gun is pulled back toward the body a bit and so the cable is snagged against the body. A rotation of the gun forward a bit will fix this.

Pretty close, but cut off so that I can use it in the future.

It's about time. Took forever just to get to this point and now the image looks too saturated with "stuff". Should have made it simpler ;)

Sky Grasper: Yay!

Wanted to use the IWSP on one of these but it turned out to be hulking-ly huge and an eyesore. I tried to get the lighting somewhat similar to the PG box-art where the sun isn't really "there".

Eternal: Basic Color

I went through a lot of different "pink" shades before I settled on this one. Need to bump map and I forgot a set of turrets.
