Strike Noir: Check

Went through a bunch of "black" schema's before settling on this slightly colored black. The the previous blacks made the machine difficult to distinguish some parts from others. So, the base looks like this... -ish.

Strike Noir: Shorty 2

I'll probably just bump map the rest, this little gun is starting to rack up some polys as is. Handle's probably a bit too wide too, I think.

Shorty is the name of the handheld beam gun sported by the 105E which I think is an interesting departure from the long rifles of earlier on. The recipe calls for 2 of these on the Strike Noir.

Still working on the backpack. Attached the swords to the holders that reside inside the wings, but still working on detail that is scattered throughout the wings/guns etc. Whew! Shocked still that so much goes into it, but then again I should have expected it considering it's a single pack with a lot of utility. Still need to rig the backpack after I finish.

Strike Noir: Noir Pack 2

I'm stupefied at the amount of detail that appears to be present in the Master Grade Noir plastic model. Basically it means that I'm still not done at all and have quite a ways to go. But I'll probably have to guess at what lies in the angles that I can't see from pictures.

Strike Noir: Legs 2

Just barely getting there. I've got to realign a lot of the leg parts and some of it seems a bit bent at the moment. Just still has a lot of problems I haven't hit yet. But hitting the sack for now as I'm feeling the onset of a cold coming.

Strike Noir: Legs 1

I knew the legs of the Noir were somehow different from the original strike, but I'm actually taken back by how different they are. The work that needs to be done to them is fairly substancial, though not quite enough to start from scratch. Anywho, getting my lazy arse to start that part now....

Working on the waist now. Doesn't seem like much to do. A little lifting here and there. Redoing the front skirt armor and thinning out others a bit. The rear electrical terminal also juts out a bit farther on the Noir. For the most part, it still seems to fit the original Strike quite well.

Strike Noir: Body 2

Basically all that has to be done is redoing the front section of the upper body, collar and a small bit in the back as well as replacing parts of the chest frame that are affected by the redo. The rest is virtually identical, or at least "similar enough" so that I don't have to do anything to it.... soooo...... going through it.

Strike Noir

Again, I figured I'd start a bunch now. This one is (of course) MOSTLY a conversion, but a lot of the Strike Noir is surprisingly different from the Strike. Parts like the body and legs have superficial differences but the head is almost completely different from each other. Still, I'm going under the premise that heavy modification of the Strike's head will eventually yield the Noir's without having to completely rebuild it, and so I reverted back to an early version of the Strike's head (I save almost every step) and started work from there to get where I am at the moment...
