Qubeley: Done

Bout time I posted something. Since my wife took a liking to this machine I thought a nice render would make her feel a bit better as she's been a bit sick lately.

Qubeley: Check1

Must have flipped the wing binders by accident. Still on it.

Qubeley: Legs 2

Still got some sizing issues and I haven't gotten the wing binder polygon collision problem fixed yet, but soon I hope.

Sculpting out those legs. Not quite as difficult as I had imagined thus far.

Qubeley: Wing Binders 2

Crap. Got some collision issues with the "vents". I was thinking initially before I even started this machine on whether or not I'd go for the "Wave Qubeley" version or the "standard" and I went for the latter basically because the "Wave" version seems a bit to "gothic" looking for me (and for Haman) -- though it does look neat, especially the mechanics in the wing binders. For now though it's just the standard version.

Finished practicing for the upcoming marathon and sitting down to some wing binder action.

Qubeley: Arms 2

FINALLY!! A little time to sit down and work on these properly. There's still so much left to do, but I think that since the arms are a bit detailed on the inside that the time taken is worth it. Probably should widen the forearms a bit.

Working with the arms in a way in which will make it look a bit more like Bee-Craft's mechanical illustration of the same section instead of what many other plastic versions appear like.

Qubeley: Waist

The waist is kind of on. The skirt armor could probably stand to be retooled a bit.

Qubeley: Tail Binder 2

Talk about being a lazy punk. Took a break yesterday and it feels like I was hell-raising. Only now getting to finish the tail binder. Seeing also a strange smoothing error behind the arm controller that I'll have to investigate, as well as some sharpening that needs to be done on the tail.

Usually I hit the waist next, but the tail binder and funnels interests me, so starting that.

It's about time I got back to the body. Took long enough. Ironing out some of the mechanics.

Only had time to start the body. Life's getting a bit busier nowadays.

Qubeley: Head 2

Difficult to get anything done on Tuesdays. Still have the vents on the side of the head and the inner frame of the head, not to mention smoothing out the contour a bit as it seems a bit bent in toward the mid section.

I'm going with the Qubeley next instead of the Asshimar. Forever starting the head first...
