Neue Ziel: Render

Rendered out a scene of the Neue Ziel, but the colony and hypervoxel explosion prooved too much for my cpu and so the render took almost 10 hours.... Compositing from now on.

As in the kind that are used as manipulation devices. I have yet to make the smaller beam-saber arms. Next I think will be the removable fuel tanks.

Neue Ziel: Front Skirt / Mega Cannon

Hit the Neue Ziel front skirt real quick since I had a little time to spare today. I think I might skip the Gundam Ka and move to the Minerva from Gundam Seed Destiny next in my 3d mesh goal as the time for animating draws near.

Neue Ziel: Wing Binders

Got most of those pesky binders. These were what I was dreading the most. I'm estimating that the tail and front binder and the arms wont be so bad.

Coming along with Neue Ziel slowly but surely. Since the polys are starting to build up hardcore, I think I'll skip detailing until the surfacing/scaling phase.

See? I'm not totally complacent; just busy with other things on this busy season. Sorry for the length of time between updates. I'm managing to get the body underway right now. A bit of a pain with all of those tasty curves.

Party after party kept me away. Only now have I straightened some edges out on Ziel's head section.

Starting the head. Bit tricky but not quite as bad as Gundam's head. At least it's not a boring make-over.

Ok, so now it's time to get to 3D-ify the Neue Ziel finally. Since this machine seems very complex, like the Dendrobium Orchis, it might take me a while before I show anything since I'll have to plan this out a little bit.
