Nightingale: Legs 1

Starting on the legs using the Qubeley's upper legs for reference but I find that I'm running into issues in terms of scaling. Either the upper legs are too small or the entire MS is scaled too large (I'm thinking it's a bit of both). I'll finish the legs and see what I can do to get the scales correct.

Nightingale: Rear Stand

Added a small stand in the rear which appears to (possibly) be landing gear. Otherwise, trying to clean up some of the mess I made of the details.

Nightingale: Rear Fuel Tanks

Throwing them in. They looked simple enough so I gave them a go. The legs are still on the drawing board however. Still working on the odd details here and there.

Nightingale: Tomahawk

I'm not at all sure if the Nightingale actually uses this weapon, but I'm guessing that if the Sazabi does then the Nightingale might. Otherwise, I've not done much else since I just got from camping.

Nightingale: Funnel / Fannel 2

I've either made the bit receptacles too large or the bits too small, or the wings themselves too large. Probably the size of the bits.... Anyway, still trying to get some detail that I left off. Looking ugly for the moment.

Funnel, fannel... whatever it is. Some people seem to claim it's one or another. Anyway, it's one of those "remote weapons". Starting on it, but not 100% sure of the difference between the Nightingale and Sazabi iterations. Ah, well...

Nightingale: Verniers 1

Taking a break from the Impulse's texturing...Might as well not tiptoe around it. Got to get back to this one. Filled in a bit of detail I left out on the upper body, but some parts need to be re-scaled... the crotch booster is one, probably the waist skirt as well.

Impulse Gundam V2: Force Silhouette 2

2 Words... "Beach Soccer". A great time was had and so I was away just a-playin in the sand. Even Aomori isn't so bad this time of year. Blue skies!! Ah!!!

So, the force silhouette is getting there. I'll probably bump map the rest of the detail (as per usual) since I'm feeling particularly lazy about hard modeling more details.

Started the Force Silhouette after some days off. Thought I could use parts from the previous one, but the MG version of the Impulse's silhouette looks more daunting. So this one's basically from scratch. Getting hot around these parts...

Impulse Gundam V2: Silhouette Flyer 1

Rough day at work, but it all came through. A bit tired but sat down to go at the little silhouette flyer. In reality I just started tinkering with the old flyer that I previously built -- stretching some points here and there and planning to add more detail. Some of it had to be tossed (wings) and started again. Almost there...

Impulse Gundam V2: Leg Flyer

Between work, watching "Heroe's" with my wife (addict) and life, it's hard to get back to Gundam. Still..

I've taken the liberty of adding an extra larger thruster under the foot armor (not unlike the V-Gundam). I was thinking of one under the knee armor, but it already rotates to accommodate the "proposed" landing gear so no go there. A shot with the nose and without. I still like the idea, so I'll probably go with having it be jettisoned before transforming from leg flyer to Impulse legs/waist.

3 Years

...Geez, It's been that long since starting this blog (though the project extends before this period) and I've yet to get any animations out. I'll try to fulfill some of the charges that I set for the project in the near future instead of dilly-dallying my time away.

Impulse Gundam V2: Check 1

Still not finished with all of the bits and stuff. Got a 21k race tomorrow that I've got to get ready for. I may indeed get rid of the nose attachment in the form of a moving piece of armor and instead make it a "cheap" nose that can be thrown off after forming into the Impulse MS. Getting a look with the standard shield and rifle.

Impulse Gundam V2: Legs 2

Have to go out of town yet again and this week has been perilously bad for a lot of things -- soooo not much done again. Just getting around to finishing up the legs. Well, close. The knee armor hasn't been finished yet and the foot soles haven't been detailed yet. Still, I thought I'd continue with my idea about the rotating nose for the waist. Still debating with myself whether to keep it or not (and what to do if I do keep it). The rifle store in the rear of the waist section is no longer usable thanks to the nose section so I went ahead and created notches on the legs to hold extra rifles (not unlike the V-Gundam's). Of course, the length of its own rifle is too long to be accommodated by the leg attachment so I went along with Windfall's smaller rifle design (not necessarily for mobile suits) to see where it was going.

Still just fiddling around.
