Zaku II F2: Body
Got most of the body down. It wasn't anywhere near as difficult as I thought it would be. Still need to model out the booster and accessory placeholders... Labels: F2 |

Zaku II F2
So, I need some more backup units for the Ziel and more suits in general in different scenes. Made loads of Gundams, but not many support/supplemental units. This is one of my favorite ground units. The ZakuII F2. So here we go... Labels: F2 |

GM KAI: Exch Rifle
Ok, so this kai actually has a rifle that has different barrels that attach to the same butt. You can tell that I'm not up to date on firearms terminology. Anyway, I'll just leave the parts in this configuration, though it's capable of looking like the Quel's firearms by just changing off the barrel assembly. Note that I didn't include the box ammunition at the rear of the rifle. |
GM KAI: Bazooka
Uh, ok. So this is A bazooka for the GM KAI. Actually, Katoki Hajime seems to have created 2 versions of the GM KAI, at least as far as toys/figures/models go. One GM KAI has no vents on the upper part of the torso (between the shoulders and the neck) while a second version, specifically for the Gundam Fix Figuration seems to have those vents installed -- similar in fashion to the GM Quel or Gundam NT-1 (Alex). In this way, the Fix Figuration version is also similar to Katoki's version of "Gundam" (the original). It's all very confusing. On top of that MAHQ shows one type of bazooka that the GM can use (looks like the version used by the Gundam MK-II) while Katoki designates the bazooka used by the original Gundam in the Fix Figuration line. AAAAA!!! Anyway, I'm using the MK-II's bazooka as I figured it would be something of a head start if I ever did the MK-II. Gotta work with some seams and bump map it (as usual). |

GM KAI
Probably not a big deal, just another GM. I expect that since this bears such heavy similarities to the GM QUEL, it shouldn't take very long to finish. The extra good news is that the chassis is just a small jump away from looking like the Gundam version KA (retro redesigned by Katoki Hajime, as is this GM). This coupled with the Advance of Zeta GM's being based off of this GM means a lot can be done with this thing, especially in the case that I'll need some Federation cannon fodder for the Neue Ziel. :D Ok, so the start... |

Dendrobium Orchis: Complete
And finally the Dendrobium Orchis is done-ish. The only thing it's missing is the demolition chain, but I guess I'll just make something up for it. I might opt for flashy logos on it if I get bored of just staring at it. They would at least help to accentuate some parts of the design. |

Dendrobium Stamen: Folding Bazooka
So, the folding bazooka for the Dendrobium Stamen / Orchis. Figured there should be something in those weapons containers. :p Labels: Dendrobium, GP Series, Stamen |

Dendrobium Orchis: Weapons Box 1
Finally getting to the weapons containers. I have the container bits in place, and of course the folding shield and extra beam rifle for the GP03 Stamen, but I have yet to model the folding bazooka, micro missle containters and large missile containters. I have no idea what I'm going to do for the demolition chain either. Sure would be nice to get the Gerbera Tetra mobile suit modelled as well.... probably too much to do right now as it is. Dendrobium Orchis: Cannon
Mr cannon is mostly there. I think it's a bit off as far as centering goes, but it should be not too bad. When the modelling's done I'll go in and resize things to fit better. Dendrobium Orchis is almost there.... Labels: Dendrobium, GP Series, Orchis |
