Ball
Purchased 2 more hard drives and largely restored what I lost. Need more things to get shot down and so the ball is up for that. Labels: Ball |

Started getting clicks of death in the 2nd HDD a few days back. The drive is now a paperweight. It figures. Set back again for another day at least. |
Adding more detail to the body, especially the guns sandwiched between the body disks. Labels: Big Zam |
Those sexah chicken legs. Giving them the go. Still got a ways until they're usable. Labels: Big Zam |
Whew, getting the details together is just killing the poly count. I might have to just map the rest out without polys. Labels: Big Zam |
Still working on it. I can't seem to get this mobile armor out of my head. I'll still hit the Turn-A, just need to get this one out of my system. Interesting how similar to the Apsalus (3) this machine appears to look at the present. Labels: Big Zam |
I'm starting to run low on time to finish this little library of machines so I've decided to remove a lot of what I wanted to do in the "Remaining" section and just leave it to bare bones. I may get back to the ones I wanted to make from the beginning, but not any time soon. Anyway, this next one is kind of something that I expect to dart in and out of like the Deep Striker (I'm only missing one thing to finish that mesh). I've wanted to make the Big Zam for a long time, but I don't like the original Big Zam from the original Gundam anime. I rather like the newer/streamlined Katoki version which looks quite similar to the one pictured above. And so the standard start of the top section. Labels: Big Zam |
...but getting there. Still working on textures, fiddling with geometry and what-not. Haven't actually even finished the booster binders quite yet.. just jumped into other stuff. Labels: gp02 |
I had almost forgotten about this model in these last days. Festivals galore! Anyway, still moving with it. Boosters are almost there -- still need to straighten some edges and fiddle with detail. I ended up mounting the beam bazooka instead of the nuclear one just to be weird. Labels: gp02 |
Got a nice town festival tonight that I have to attend so this is the start for now. Labels: gp02 |
Getting it together slowly. Geez time is moving so fast nowadays. I had planned to get this finished a little sooner than this... Labels: gp02 |
The town festival is coming up and I've been practicing with the locals so time has been stiff again. Just getting to the end bits of this one. Labels: gp02 |
The original GP-02 carried with it a bazooka capable of firing a MK-82 nuclear missile (a violation of the Antarctic treaty). The bazooka was split into 2 pieces, one being anchored to the rear of the right shoulder armor and the other half stored in the massive shield's rear compartment. An alternate version by Katoki Hajime (a variation) did NOT use a nuke. I was planning on both versions really. At the moment, I'm starting the atomic weapon. Labels: gp02 |
Starting the work on the shield. The symmetry present in the shield design makes it seem like a simple job. Labels: gp02 |
Returned from Sendai and only recently having time to work on the legs again. Labels: gp02 |
