Hyaku Shiki: Forgot as well

I guess I went with the "color" represented in the GFF version of the Hyaku Shiki, instead of, say, the Akatsuki I made (long) before. And I guess it makes sense: it's a paint job, not a micro-mirror technology espoused in the armor.

Hyaku Shiki: Clay Bazooka

This is what I call "within reasonable limits" where just modeling additional light, but needed detail will end up chalking up the polys more than I want. In this case I'll probably go ahead and finish it off using bump maps and the lot. So, sliding the Hyaku Shiki modeling into the "completed" section, despite not getting the beam sabers back there in the holsters.... DOH. Off to finish some surfacing...

Hyaku Shiki: Beam Rifle

Getting around to the rifle, finally. It wasn't really that bad, but so much going on today, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to finish it up. Might be a little wide in the back... er.. actually probably the whole thing is a little wide.

Hyaku Shiki: AMBAC

The skinny little wings are up on the backpack now. Wonder if more detail shouldn't be added, but I'm not solid on that.

Hyaku Shiki: Legs

Ah, the legs. I always loved how the MKII and Hyaku Shiki had some of their parts exposed. A bit of flair that I thought made them stand out. Without the proper sharpening and a little more detail, this set of legs as-is isn't finished.

--edit: crap, the legs are sticking out of the skirt armor.... :(

Hyaku Shiki: Arms

Katoki's GFF version of the Hyaku Shiki seems to have slightly different arm builds than the one pictured here, I'm thinking about going with his version in the future instead of this one is this seems to look a wee plain.

Hyaku Shiki: Waist

While I am working on the textures for the Sinanju, I firgured on tying up some of these runaway projects. Hopefully I can keep my mind on them long enough, though I did have "alternate" plans for the Hyaku Shiki as a base "build", especially in the finishing of the Sinanju and Unicorn....

But that's all premature. For now just a little of the waist area...

Hyaku Shiki: Body 3

The backpack is close, but I've forgotten some detail on the actual body itself. It's like being some kind of giddy kid who wanders off to do something else but forgets to clean up.

Hyaku Shiki: Body 2

Ran like a wild man yesterday and woke up to some pain in the old legs. Hopefully this doesn't set me back on any more training. Saw Gundam 00's new season yesterday. Seems like it's been a long time. Doesn't look too bad, yet again. Still wholly unmotivated to start some 00 meshes though -- I'm surprised an MG from that series hasn't surfaced yet given the otherwise high profile modeling blitz Bandai put out...perhaps if/when an MG magically surfaces...

For the Hyaku Shiki....Forgot to activate smoothing settings for the surfaces and this time I need to cut back on the hard edges some more and raise the head a little.

Hyaku Shiki: Body 1

Was hoping to get more done in the last few days but have been snowballed with business... mostly the upcoming marathon. Ugh! It's cold in Aomori...

Hyaku Shiki: Head 2

Could there be any surprise? As usual, need to pound out some dents and rearrange a few points -- sharpen up a few more areas. But it's not that shabby.

Hyaku Shiki: GO!

msn00100
Got the Gundam MKII and Zeta Gundam going, not to mention the Nemo but the Type100 is late in the game in coming. What I find interesting as well is the striking similarity between that and the Delta Gundam (and Delta Plus by extension). The reasons are obvious though. At any rate, I thought about the future for a second when I came about thinking of this one.

..also, marathon training (at this time of year -- pretty much every year) usually leaves me with little time to do much so I'm procrastinating the Xamel a bit. Normally I do nothing at all during late August/September.

Starting the head... not much new there though, huh.
