Asshimar: Arms 2
Those arms are close... Labels: Asshimar |
The transformable armor is kind of hiding a bit of the stuff underneath, but it's basically continuing on to the arm version of the drum frame. Fairly straight-forward. Labels: Asshimar |
Still picking and choosing from Okawara's and Fujioka's versions. The drumframe designed by Fujioka seems a bit lacking in the lower waist so I left it more like Okawara's version...the same with the chest plates. Labels: Asshimar |
I'm taking references from the Zeta Gundam movie at this point as I've opted for the "triple" eye assist lenses for the face. The original zeta gundam tv show made it look as though there were as many as 6 other assist lenses (in the case that the main mono-eye was destroyed). Labels: Asshimar |
Time to roll out another one. This is also a machine that I've been waiting to do for some time but was unsure as to how to go about it. After sitting down with some paper and pencil I'm fairly certain as to how to get through it. Most of what the finished model will look like should resemble Okawara's version (on the upper left) though some parts of Fujioka's version, specifically detail, will be integrated into it. Just starting the head (as I have a jillion times before) Labels: Asshimar |
Still got some sizing issues and I haven't gotten the wing binder polygon collision problem fixed yet, but soon I hope. Labels: Qubeley |
Sculpting out those legs. Not quite as difficult as I had imagined thus far. Labels: Qubeley |
Crap. Got some collision issues with the "vents". I was thinking initially before I even started this machine on whether or not I'd go for the "Wave Qubeley" version or the "standard" and I went for the latter basically because the "Wave" version seems a bit to "gothic" looking for me (and for Haman) -- though it does look neat, especially the mechanics in the wing binders. For now though it's just the standard version. Labels: Qubeley |
Finished practicing for the upcoming marathon and sitting down to some wing binder action. Labels: Qubeley |
FINALLY!! A little time to sit down and work on these properly. There's still so much left to do, but I think that since the arms are a bit detailed on the inside that the time taken is worth it. Probably should widen the forearms a bit. Labels: Qubeley |
Working with the arms in a way in which will make it look a bit more like Bee-Craft's mechanical illustration of the same section instead of what many other plastic versions appear like. Labels: Qubeley |
The waist is kind of on. The skirt armor could probably stand to be retooled a bit. Labels: Qubeley |
