Astray Blue Frame: Short Rifle 2

The short rifles are loaded onto the forearms directly, but attached by the rotating elbow armor which "would" keep them in place in the PG version. Quite large looking in both bee-crafts drawings and this render so I'm happy about that.

The short rifle seems to have also been designed by bee-craft for the PG Astray, though not created. It was featured as well in several magazines in its time. It appears to be specifically for the Blue Frame, though which version of the blue frame I have yet to determine. The design of this mesh was based on bee-crafts 'unrealized' idea. Need to remove some junk, but it's pretty close here. Edit == at the very least, the FULL ARMOR PHASE SHIFT version of the Blue Frame does indeed use this set of rifles.

Astray Blue Frame: Legs 2

I changed the shape of the foot to reflect the design changes in the Master Grade version of the Blue Frame 2nd revise. However, since the plastic model's frame and foot are thinner than the version I created, I simply changed the shape of the foot rather than modeling a brand new one. The heel reflects any of the same ideas I decided to implement in the model. The foot is also somewhat "taller" than it's previous incarnation reflecting some ideas that Bee-Craft illustrated in Dengeki Hobby a few months ago as what might have been a PG "Blue Frame Second L" leg. Strangely, this illustration was absent from the actual model kits' manual. I also added the knife and the thingie that sits behind the waist on the blue frame. A white section of armor that goes on the lower leg to protect the ankle joints seems to be what remains of the critical stuff. Small details on the leg reflective of the MG version might be an option if I further choose to.

Astray Blue Frame: Tactical Arms II - 2

Stiiiiilll working on it. I haven't gotten the handle bits attached to it yet so that the blades can be attached to the arms. Still haven't finished texturing. One of the lower blades is overlapping it's upper "parent" as well...oops. Edit-- combined 2 posts by accident. Also, I called this the "astra" post instead of "astray".

Astray Blue Frame: Tactical Arms II

I tried going from start to finish with the tactical arms II unit, instead of holding back the surfacing till the end. Took a while though. I've still got more to do as far as staining and burning but it's close to what I want. I missed some stuff near the multi-barrel that I'll get later. I tried to mix in some ideas from the first tactical arms unit into this one. Still in progress, but it's in its end stages... I hope.

Astray Blue Frame: Shoulders

I have most of the shoulder guards in there, but I'm sure that I'll have to stretch the sides out a little to make room for the PG size arms. If the head and backpack were that of the previous astray, it would basically complete most of the Second G version of the blue frame. As is, it still needs work but it's getting there...
