Full Armor Gundam: Legs

Sat down to get the legs going. Too much guessing, which was what I was afraid of. Some of Katoki's work is difficult to get a look at using just images, but I gave it a go. Some resizing of parts was required to get the leg armor looking ok, but some parts are really iffy. Back to the drawing board on this one.

Full Armor Gundam: Armor 1

Doesn't look like much has changed, but I've been working on the shoulder armor and the waist flaps somewhat. diverges a little from katoki's design, but for the "more interesting" side I think... er... I hope.

Full Armor Gundam: Chest Armor

Kind of fiddling around again trying to see if the armor can be squeezed on right. I might have goofed and made the cockpit hatch-armor too wide and other places may need to be physically welded together, but the shapes are there.

Full Armor Gundam: Backpack

Not exactly a lot online detailing the backpack as much as I wanted, so some of the detail is made up...ahem. But it's there to look at. Generally it looks about right, plus or minus.

Full Armor Gundam: Dual Cannon

Attached to the right arm. I was going to just parent them to the right arm, but Layout isn't going to have it, so I cut and pasted the finished assembly directly on to the right arm instead. Rotated the left arms cannon thingies since I actually had them upside down.

Full Armor Gundam: GO!

Saw a pic in Ninjascience's flickr account and thought "Why not?" Good old Mr. Katoki has basically made it kind of easy by using his Gundam KA design as a jump off point for so many of his mechs. I like the way this one looks (as opposed to the older design). The image katoki drew is at odds with the finished piece so I'll go with the finished piece since it looks really nice.
